One of the things I can rarely shut up about is skin care. I find a new serum that is actually delivering on its promises? Oh, I’m shouting it from the rooftops. A toner that is a blessing to my skin? You definitely wouldn’t hear the end of it.

Despite my indulgence in skincare, I prefer a minimal approach to it. A few products that actually work are all I need, rather than running after every product that the skincare girlies are raving about in any instance. This doesn’t mean that I am opposed to trying new products because my eyes are always peeled, waiting for what new stuff the brands come up with. However, I prefer to try them out one at a time, giving each product a fair trial before deciding where it belongs.

In this post, I want to share with you this inexpensive toner that has become a holy grail in my skincare routine. The TONYMOLY Wonder Ceramide Mochi Milky Toner. This is one product I stumbled upon accidentally. I have oily, problematic, and dehydrated skin, and I used all the moisturizing products I thought should help my skin, but my skin problems persisted.

I went to a skincare store to look for a brightening product, as the dullness of my skin wasn’t improving. I found a brightening toner that piqued my interest, but I was also drawn to the Toni Molly I saw on the shelf. It seemed like a really good deal for a 500ml bottle of milky toner for less than $20 dollars.

The sales assistant standing nearby must have heard my internal dilemma as she came up to me and advised me to go with the Tony Moly toner as it was rich in ceramides. She told me the dullness of my skin was as a result of a damaged skin barrier, and that my skin, in addition to the dullness, was also tight and greasy, and that the ceramide toner would improve my skin barrier and dehydrated skin and would brighten my skin gradually. I gave her recommendation a shot and have bought this product religiously ever since.

First, what sold me on this product was that I noticed an improvement almost immediately after applying it. It was like my skin had a glass of water. It became supple. Over the next few days, the texture of my skin improved, making it much smoother. In a couple of weeks, my skin started to brighten up. Now I combine this toner and the T’IAM B3 source serum to maximize the brightening effect on my skin.

If you are like me, you want to know what ingredients are in a product before using it, as some ingredients that might work for the majority of skin types may not be compatible with your skin. With that said, some of the star ingredients contained in this toner include:

Ceramide, which is a great ingredient for skin barrier repair.

Cica and Panthenol, which soothe and calm the skin.

Sodium hyaluronate, which provides intense moisture for your skin.

Now, who is this product for?

This toner is one of those skincare products I can say will work for the majority of skin types. Because of its calming ingredients, it is a great find for people with sensitive skin. The ceramide and other hydrating ingredients help restore the moisture balance of dehydrated skin and heal a damaged skin barrier.

How do I use this toner?

For most people with a basic knowledge of skin care, you already know which product goes where, but if you aren’t sure, this is the first product I use after washing my face. I just pour it into my palm and dab it on my face. You can use a cotton pad if you prefer. I like to use this toner with the TIAM Vita B3 Source serum, as they work so well together to brighten and smooth your skin.

Where can you get this product?

You can find this toner on Amazon for less than $30, and it can go as low as $17 during sales. The 500ml bottle is very large, so it will last you a long time, which is a good return for your money.

You can also find them in Korean stores such as Olive Young and YesStyle.
