If you are a lover of fragrances and can’t stop yourself from purchasing new bottles every time you have some extra cash to spare, I’m sure you look for every opportunity you can to maximize the usage of your fragrances. Here are 12 places to apply perfume that you probably didn’t think of.

Fragrances add beauty to our lives.
They can influence our mood, shape our imagination, and catapult us to moments in our lives when we created these memories with a feeling of nostalgia.
Fragrances are a spice of life and every lady should have a variety in her collection.
For those who just absolutely love fragrances and want to wear them every way you can, I’ll be giving you a list of places you can apply your fragrances that would have you captivating people in every room that you walk into.
1. Use some in your hair
Did you know that you can use some of your fragrance in your hair?
Now I don’t mean picking up the bottle and directly spraying it into your hair because a lot of perfumes do contain alcohol and some astringents that would be drying to your hair.
You could either spray your fragrance a few times in the air above your hair and let some of its mist settle on your hair or you could just get a hair fragrance instead. My personal favorite is the Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Perfume.
2. Inside your elbow
If you are wearing a short-sleeved shirt, you should try putting a few spritz of fragrance inside your elbow.
If you have not tried this before, you definitely should.
The elbow is one of the pulse areas of our bodies and pulse areas are great for applying fragrances as they are warm due to the blood vessels in that area.
Applying fragrance on the inside of your elbow would make your fragrance project even further especially when you are shaking people’s hands.
3. Behind your knees
Most of the fragrances we apply are usually in the upper region of the body but why not switch it around and apply it behind your knees as well so that the fragrance exudes from all around you?
The same principle I mention about the inside of your elbow is the same thing that happens when you apply it behind the knees.
This is even better when you wear outfits that expose the knees like shorts, short dresses, or skirts
4. Your ankles and calfs
You have to try this the next time you are wearing sandals or open shoes.
This application gives a little extra something to your fragrance application. As you walk into a room, the projection of fragrance follows each step you take.
It also creates a bubble effect of fragrance together with the application you make in the upper part of your body that just envelops you.
5. Behind your ears and along your Jaw
Although applying perfume at the back of your ear is not a new concept, most people typically apply it on the sides of their neck.
The next time you apply fragrance, pull your ear forward and spritz your fragrance once or twice. Then do the same along your jawline.
This can project your fragrance when people are standing beside you and in front of you.
6. In the cleavage
Exude your beautiful scent in your chest area by applying some fragrance to your cleavage.
That way when you sit or lean forward your fragrance would project even further.
If you are looking for a way to increase the intensity of your fragrance, these extra areas of application would allow you to apply more quantity of perfume without it being overpowering.
7. Your belly button
Have you thought about applying fragrance to your belly button? That might be an area that you probably haven’t thought about.
If you are wearing a crop or an outfit where your belly button is exposed, this is something you have to try.
This would help give you an all-round application so that your entire body exudes your beautiful fragrance.
8. Apply perfume to your back
This might also be something you haven’t thought about.
Most of the places we apply fragrance to are at the frontal part of our bodies. How about you switch things up and apply fragrance on your back too?
Remember we are trying to create a fragrance bubble around us. The bubble would be incomplete if there is no scent projecting backward.
So when next you are applying perfume, give your back a few spritzes too and I am sure you wouldn’t want to go without spraying it there again whenever you are applying fragrances.
9. Spray some on your scarves and shawl
In the colder months like in Winter and Fall where you are all covered up in layers of clothes and there is no exposed skin for you to apply your fragrances to, consider applying some on your scarves and your shawl.
This would ensure that you are able to wear your fragrances and still grab people’s attention with the unique ones in your collection that express your taste.
10. Inside your shirt collars and cuffs
This is great for when you are wearing a shirt for work or any other occasion.
Most fragrances typically last long on clothes, especially in your collars and cuffs where they have access to warm areas of your skin that allow the fragrance to project even better.
You can also add a bit of fragrance on your wrist and the side of your neck for added intensity.
11. your waist
Spritz your perfume a few times on your waist so the fragrance swirls around you when you move around.
Spraying some fragrance on your waist allows the scent to wrap around you when you sit or move around and you don’t have to be close to someone for them to experience the beauty of your fragrance as well.
12. Your inner thighs
The inner thighs require a lot of care to have them smelling clean and fresh because of the moisture they usually hold.
Why not take that up a notch by applying fragrance to your inner thighs? This allows the scent of your beautiful fragrance to exude whenever you sit down.
Conclusion
These are the 12 places you can apply your fragrances that you properly didn’t think of.
I hope you have found new ways to use the fragrances in your collection and are excited to try them the next time you are getting ready for your day or dressing up to go out.
